The adicam Cart Tent is a versatile solution designed specifically for film industry professionals and D.I.T. operators facing diverse, challenging working environment. This compact shading tent provides protection from sunlight and adverse weather conditions ensuring comfortable working space on film set. Its sturdy construction, high-quality materials and precison of workmenship guarantee a long lasting use.
The outer layer is a waterproof ripstop polyester, very strong and resistant to tearing, yet very pleasant to touch. Reinforced with an additional impregnation it keeps the rain off without absorbing water. The inner layer is an UV-resistant black fabric that creates a darkened environment and allows for undisturbed by light viewing of monitors on location.
The frame, made of a lightweight aluminum features two 16mm (5/8 in) pin holes mounts for an effortless installation on 2-section tent pipes with baby pins, which are included in this kit. Its wide adjustment allows for attachment on any cart smaller than 1.2 x 1m.
The system of zippers, pockets, fasteners and snap fasteners was carefully designed to provide multiple set up possibilities, according to user’s needs:
- the zippers on each corner of the tent ensure a stable closure;
- the roll-up side walls can be zipped open from any side and conveniently secured at the top with elastic fasteners;
- the Velcro straps at the narrow sides fastened around the cart’s legs additionally stiffen the structure during windy weather;
- the bottom of the tent can be additionally anchored to the ground thanks to the provided hooking points with eyelets;
- practically positioned internal pockets are at hand for storing small items and camera accessories.
For easy transport and storage, the entire kit fits into a dedicated carrying case and comes with an additional waterproof soft cover for the tent.
